The Family Man

This weekend I’ve seen the “Family Man” movie on TV, I finally realised what men wanted are so different as women. Well, I’m sure that most of women who have seen the film should have the same feeling as me.

This film's leading actor is Nicholas Cage, he named "Jack" and the actress named "Kate" in this film. Jack & Kate are couple, they met each other in the university. Jack decided to go to London for one-year course after he graduated from the University.

Kate afraid of he will leave her and asked him to give up his plan, but Jack did go to London and decided to leave Kate behind. After 13 years later, he has a really successful career.

Jack thinks that he owns everything, including money, living in a high standard life, and excellent career. But he hasn't got a family and living alone which he thinks it's not important.

This movie reminds me one of my English friends who lives in London & has been married once.

The English man decided to take a MBA course after he is married. The reason why he’d like to take the MBA degree due to he’d like to have a successfully career.

In order to achieve what he wanted, after he graduated, he planed his future career without count his family in. He chose a job, which is unstable and needs to travel around the world. He totally forgot that he is a family man who should pay attention & responsibility to his wife & children. Finally, his wife decided to leave him.

Now he moved out and built his own house, which he even didn't live there for long due to he travel a lot. He even needs to recruit a clean lady to live inside of his house while he is abroad. And guess what, he now still unsatisfied about his current life, he told me that he is thinking to get a job in New York. He’d like to make more money and would like to have a better life than now. Why men are so greedy…I don’t understand it, and I don’t think I will. From a satirical view that the reason why he prefers to travel around the world instead of stay in London, because no one is waiting for him at home. I don't know when he will realise that a man who owns Money & a successfully job didn’t mean he will own everything, it's better to find a person who really care about him.

Anyway, I don't know when he will achieve his goal; probably he will realise he made a mistakes when he grow old. Hopefully, if he has seen the film and also realised he did the same mistake as the film's main actor-"Jack", then he probably would still have a chance to get his family back, even I doubt his wife will trust him and accept him anymore.

Jack realised that family is more important than achieving something which all man want to achieve. I think if the English man is a clever & thoughtful man, he should be able to handle both his career & his family really well without sacrificed his family to get what he wanted, isn’t it?

Well, we’re human; we learnt a lesson after we took mistake.
